The Kids Research Institute Djaalinj Waakinj Ear Health Program provides research and clinical care to investigate the causes, impact, treatment, management and prevention of ear disease and hearing loss.

Otitis Media (OM) is the most common ear infection and occurs in the middle ear. This program is for Aboriginal children 0 – 16 years. It is very common in children and can cause significant hearing loss that can have a lasting effect on a Child’s development and education.
