Cockburn Healthy Schools Program

Cockburn Healthy Schools Program
The Cockburn Healthy Schools Program was established when Cockburn Integrated Health identified gaps at a community level in access to prevention services for overweight and obesity in school aged children. The program was initiated in late 2017 assisting schools with health and lifestyle related prevention initiatives and to further improve connections to existing services.
Each year five City of Cockburn primary schools are selected to receive free nutrition education, as part of the Cockburn Healthy Schools Program. Thanks to our partners ATCO and the City of Cockburn, for their continued support and funding of the program.
